The victim reported to Mansfield Police that she had received texts from her 25-year-old ex-boyfriend threatening to shoot her, “kill her entire family, stab her for each year she was alive, and kill their child,” authorities said in a Wednesday release.
The man — whose name was not released by police — also sent the victim’s family explicit videos, authorities said.
The victim continued to receive threatening text messages while reporting the incident at police headquarters, authorities said.
A warrant was issued for third-degree terroristic threats, third-degree invasion of privacy and fourth-degree cyber harassment.
Dover Police arrested the man Oct. 11 before he was taken to Warren County Jail by Mansfield Police pending a court hearing.
He was also served with a restraining order, which he allegedly violated after texting and Facetiming the victim on Oct. 30, police said.
A warrant was issued and remains active, police said.
